Well, Kristin has an amazing daughter who is raising money for her third trip to Taiwan, where she uses her God-given gifts to serve in an orphanage. She's opened an etsy shop and filled it with all kinds of handmade pretties.
I love buying handmade. There's something special about the stitches in a quilt and the hands that carefully put them there, one by one. The smooth finish on a piece of wood that has been sanded and stained to perfection. There is a story behind these gems. A life. A gift.
And when these gifts are used to serve a greater purpose, a God-sized task...well, I think that's exactly why we're here and what we're supposed to do. To 'get' that when you're only 20 years old...and act on it...now that's impressive.
Check out The LucieElle Shop! I'd recommend it for the cause alone...but seriously? Her stuff is CUTE!
Magnets, bracelets, hair pins, earrings...
Love it!
And I really love the reason.
