Girls' Morning Out

On Saturday morning, I managed to escape with my friend, Jill. {sans kiddos/monkeys/chaos-makers} We went to a yard sale, a consignment shop, and a pottery open house. We had so much fun...the morning went entirely too fast! I struck out at the yard sale and consignment shop, but I was a giddy gal surrounded by all that pottery...

I just met Tarrah in blog land recently and learned of her upcoming open house. I was so excited at the idea of meeting her in person! When we got there, she knew who we were as soon as we came in the door! So neat. Her beautiful log home was absolutely amazing in every detail. So many goodies in every nook and cranny. {pottery created by her husband and unique wool projects created by her} I seriously had to hold myself back. Jill wasn't much help...she loved everything, too, so she just "helped" me justify my purchases! I came home with three pieces. {But trust me, Hubby...there could have been many more!}

I'm lovin' the robin's egg blue...

Now, I think I need some cream-colored pieces to go with them ;)

If you get a chance, visit Tarrah at The Potter Shed.
She's so sweet...I know you'll love her.
And the pottery...
Oh. My. Goodness.

That is some beautiful pottery. I have a weakness for that as well. Isabel and I had our fun big girls out day today and ended up with some big purchases of our weekness... LEGO, a log cabin. I just finished building it. So much fun. No off to write a few blogposts. Clean my house really quick and build some more LEGO houses.

Love the pottery too!
I'll go check her out.
Wish I could have had a girl's morning out too.
Good for you!
Love, Kristin

It sounds like a great day! I love the color of your pottery, too. Cream would be good! :)
