Moving Forward

I'm joining many other bloggers in Multitude Monday, one thousand gifts. It will be my ongoing gratitude journal. It's long overdue and I believe exactly what I need to realign my attitude. There are so many everyday blessing that get overlooked. I don't want to take anything for granted. This week, I'm so thankful for:
  1. lysol spray and herbal tea
  2. a crisp autumn breeze flowing through the house
  3. crunchy leaves sprinkled across the yard
  4. baby receiving blankets, now tied and serving as capes for little super heroes
  5. a sweet 3-year-old who asks, "Momma, why aren't you smilin'?" and shows me how it's done
  6. friends to lift up and friends to lean on
  7. the strong open arms of a loving husband
  8. the grin of a boy who sees a passing school bus, knowing he was schooling at home all day {sometimes in his pj's}
  9. the surprise color of an opening mum, planted last year after bloom
  10. a god who knows exactly what His children need and grants enough grace and strength to take another step

holy experience

We will be praying for J and family and for you as you offer support to them. That list is beautiful and has reminded me to look around and be thankful!

Hi Marie,
I am so sorry to hear about your friend, I know of so many girls that have come down with this recently. But God does hear and answer prayer, He can preserve her life!
I love your list of gratitudes, there are always so many, no matter what is happening in our lives. Hug your kiddos and be grateful for your health, dear girl.
Hugs, Cindy

Thanks, Cindy. I am very thankful for my health and the health of my family. I'm so grateful for my friendship with J, and pray that God will give her the strength only He can give. He's been working some awesome miracles throughout this nightmare, so I'm praying for a few more:)

SO sorry to read about your friend. Sometimes there are no words.

Thank you, Melinda. She's doing well...fighting one day at a time. She has 2 chemo treatments behind her and is taking charge with some cancer-fighting nutrition.
