BFF

Hi, friends.

I'm popping in today with a prayer request.

I've known Jenn since I was a kid, but we became close friends in high school. We were in band front and indoor guard together for four years. As hard as those school years were, when I look back on those band and guard days...I miss it. I'm almost 32 years old, and I still remember the feeling I got right before we took the field or gym for competition. I can still feel that sting of a broken blood vessel when I'd catch my rifle the wrong way. During those years, Jenn, Heather, and I were nearly inseparable. In fact, we each had a necklace that, when put together with the others, formed the phrase...you guessed it...best. friends. forever.

Indoor Guard...Little Shop of Horrors

So now that you've met Jenn, (I know I've mentioned Heather and her Four Loud Monkeys before:) Could I ask for some prayer warrior support? Jenn is currently in her 34th week of carrying her very first miracle baby blessing, Emma Rose. It's been an incredibly long, heartbreaking, exhausting road for Jenn and her hubby, Joey. Heather wrote a beautiful post about it here.

Jenn's doctors are concerned about sweet Emma Rose right now. At a scheduled utrasound yesterday, Jenn was told she needs to stop working immediately (she's a teacher) and is basically on bed rest until further notice. She will be monitored and examined frequently, all the while trying not to let fear take up residence in her racing mind.

I'm sharing this because Jenn appreciates every single prayer that is sent up on her behalf. This has been such a difficult journey for one of the sweetest couples I know. They love this baby with all their hearts, and they love Jesus with all they are. I fully believe that God did not bring them to this unless He intended to get them through it.

Would you pray for baby Emma? Pray that she's healthy and that her mama stays safe. Pray that Jenn and Joey are given the strength they need to press on with faith and trust. And pray that when my sweet friend gets through this pregnancy, she will have the happiest, healthiest, easiest, most content baby imaginable. 'Cause she deserves a break!

Thank you so much!

Lord have mercy.
Truly.
I pray He will.
What a beautiful post, Marie.
May God bless your friend richly with peace, healing, faith and grace.
May He provide through you and Heather the support that Jenn needs.
May He bless Emma with health and a safe entry into this world.
He knows this mama.
He knows this baby.
He knows this outcome.
He has a plan.
Thinking of you all~
Kristin

p.s. Look how cute you all were back then, and beautiful you all are now. ;o)

Lord,
Please see to Jenn and her baby Emma, you know who they are and had plans for them from the time you created them.
Lord I pray for wisdom and mindfulness for the medical team.
I pray for calmness and strength for Jenn.
I pray for a strong and healthy little baby girl.
I pray for Heather and Marie for them to be your vessels of comfort and support for Jenn.
Lord this is all in your hands.
In Jesu name I pray, Amen.
