Treehouse Adventures...Part 1

Backs are aching. Splinters are being removed. Vacuum cleaners are working overtime in the kitchen. And smiles are EVERYWHERE. We started building the treehouse. The boys have been dreaming and planning this treehouse for years. To be honest, I've always wanted one, too, so I'm feeling very young at heart. (just not very young in the muscles and joints :)

Actually, I spent most of the weekend gardening and doing other yard work while Mr. Chaos and a good friend of his led the construction process. We have a long way to go, but I'm told the hard part is done. We're lacking large trees in our woods, so we went with four posts and planted them among the trees.

They're so happy...and they don't even have a floor yet! I can't wait :) Hopefully, the weather will cooperate on weekends. More pics to follow...
